Deleting a Domain From Your Account¶
If you no longer wish to use any QUIC.cloud services with one of your domains, you may remove it from your account.
From your QUIC.cloud Dashboard, click on the domain you wish to remove. In this example, we'll be deleting example.com
from our account. Navigate to the Settings tab.
At the bottom of the screen you will see a Delete Domain link. Click it to begin the deletion process.
If you have not disabled the CDN with your domain, you'll see a warning like this one. Click the Go to CDN Settings link.
Click the Disable CDN button at the bottom of the QUIC.cloud CDN Settings box. You will see the following prompt:
Add feedback in the box, if you wish, and then click the Disable button.
Now that the CDN is disabled, you can resume deleting example.com
from your account. Navigate back to the Settings tab and click the Delete Domain link again.
Now is the time to make sure your DNS settings are correct. If you originally added this domain to QUIC.cloud using the assigned CNAME method, visit your DNS provider and remove the appropriate CNAME record before you delete example.com
from your QUIC.cloud account.
If example.com
is using QUIC.cloud DNS, it's ok to leave it that way if you want to. When you're ready, click the Yes, delete domain button to remove example.com
from your QUIC.cloud account.
